International student training

From 1st of July, 2015 to 12th of July, 2015, a group of students from specialty “Economics of transport”, together with their tutors prof. Emil Jelezov, PhD and assist. prof. Petya Koralova, PhD, took practical training at Moscow State University of Railway Engineering /MIIT/. The training is in accordance with the contract signed from many years between Todor Kableshkov University of Transport and Moscow State University of Railway Engineering.
During the training, Bulgarian students got familiar with the technical laboratories and the equipment of different departments at MIIT. At an official meeting between the two delegations, presentations about education and activities at both universities were presented, respectively by vice-rector in international activities at MIIT – Assoc. prof. Vladimir Glazkov, PhD and assist. prof. Petya Koralova, PhD – representative of department “PhD students, research and international activities” at Todor Kableshkov University of Transport. All Bulgarian students were awarded certificates by the vice-rector – Assoc. prof. Vladimir Glazkov for their participation in the training.
The students visited also the controller center of the Moscow Metropolitan, as well as the Museum of Border Forces. There was an amazing cultural programme for the students during their staying in Moscow.
From 11th of July, 2015 to 21st of July, 2015, students and teachers from Moscow State University of Railway Engineering /MIIT/, visited Ravda, Bulgaria. They were welcomed by the rector of Todor Kableshkov University of Transport – prof. Petar Kolev, DSc, the vice-rector in Research and International Affairs – Assoc. prof. Daniela Todorova, PhD and head of Department “Economic activity and security” – eng. Georgi Gergov. The vice-rector assoc. prof. Daniela Todorova, PhD introduced nice presentation about the university and the achievements of Bulgarian students and PhD students in research and sports activities and the Russian students were awarded certificates for their practical training.
For the guests from MIIT many visitations were organized, such as port of Bourgas, Pomorie, the yacht port at Saint Vlas and etc.
The international student training ended up with many positive emotions, unforgettable memories, new acquaintances and useful knowledge for both Russian and Bulgarian students.
