Laboratory Complex in Railway Transport Operation

The Laboratory Complex in Railway Transport Operation is managed and operated together with the Association of Railway Model Makers, aiming the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the existing in School Premise 1 railway model; popularization and dissemination of ideas related to the railway modeling; training of young transport specialists and supporting their creative initiatives; developing and operating up-to-date digital railway models etc;

It has an area of 1600 square meters and consists of eight laboratory rooms with all kinds of interlocking devices. In separate rooms passenger and marshaling regions with differentiated passenger, junction, section and intermediary stations have been built up. A model of marshaling station has been developed. Within the complex there is a traffic safety and reliability laboratory.
