Spa-Road (Stress Prevention Activities for Road Transport Drivers and SME)

Spa-Road (Stress Prevention Activities for Road Transport Drivers and SME), is a European Transfer of Innovation Project with edification number 2010-1-ES1-LEO05-21000, approved by the Spanish National Agency of Livelong Learning Program under Leonardo da Vinci call 2010. The project counts with the participation of seven organizations from seven different EU countries. The Federation of Transport, Communications and Sea workers´ General Union of Castile -Leon (TCM UGT CyL) is the project promoter. The Higher School of Transport is a partner. SPA-ROAD aims to prevent and combat the stress of the road transport drivers (freights and passengers) and SME workers in order to improve their health and the European road safety. With the aim of develop a lifelong learning environment, Spa-Road will create a Virtual Training Platform and will support the project with the creation of a 2.0 Website. The main objectives of SPA-ROAD´s Project are: • To prevent and combat the stress of the road transport drivers (freights and passengers) and SME workers in order to improve their health and the European road safety. • To promote effective risk asessment and prevention of work related stress. • To raise awareness on the importance of preventing actions. Road drivers and Road transport SME workers are the direct target groups of INMETT project. SPA-ROAD may be also useful for the following groups: • Trade unions • Road transport SME • Professional organisations working in this sector • Training centres and driving schools • Social agents • Public authorities and legislation makers The final products to be offered are: • Report of the state-of-art of the Stress Prevention Training in Road Transport (English). • Dossier of training platform´s contents to be included in the Final version of the Training Platform (English, Spanish, German, French, Greek, Hungarian and Bulgarian). • Training Platform (English, Spanish, German, French, Greek, Hungarian and Bulgarian).
