Bulgarian-Slovak joint project on the social aspects of the infrastructure of public transport

The research project Social Aspects of Public Transport is performed within the competition Bilateral Cooperation: Bulgaria and Slovakia. The project partners are Todor Kableshkov University of Transport and the Faculty of Special Engineering at University of Zilina, among which exist traditional cooperation in the field of training and research. The Bulgarian team includes: Assoc. prof. Eng. Detelin Vassilev, PhD, Assoc. prof Emil Zhelezov, PhD and Senior Lecturer Daniela Todorova, PhD and the Slovak team – Prof. Eng. Ladislav Shimak, PhD, Assoc. prof. Eng Ladislav Novak, PhD, Prof. Eng. Miroslav Saidal, PhD, and Assoc. prof. Irgi Horachek, PhD. The project will examine and analyze the main problems of the public transport in the two countries as the main goal is the positive and negative trends to be identified. The research outcome will be establishment of economic instruments, which will measure the quality of the public transport.
