Student Forum on the Occasion of 8th December


On December 4, 2013 in a hall 6201 of the library of Todor Kableshkov University of Transport was held a student forum on the occasion of 8th December, organized by Department of Economics and Accountancy in Transport in cooperation with the Business Planning and Project Management Center. The event set the beginning of a tradition, supported by the university management. The forum was attended by Prof. DSc Petar Kolev, Rector of Todor Kableskov University of Transport, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniela Todorova, Vice-Rector of Research and International Activities, lecturers and students. Captain (Navy) Boyan Mednikarov, the Commandant of N.Y. Vaptsarov Naval Academy was a guest of honor at the event. The two rectors congratulated the students on the occasion of the upcoming holiday and wished them successful performance in the forum and their future realization as young professionals.
Full-time and part-time BSc students in Transport Economics Programme presented the following projects:
1) Improving the Operation of Bulgarian Institute of Metrology by Equipping the Training Center (project team: Anelia Vatsova, Antoaneta Krasteva, Siliya Yoradanova)
2) Health and Care for My Child – Training for Pregnant Women Who are at Risk of Abandoning Their Child (project team: Katrin Vassileva, Iva Petrova, Karolina Simeonova)
3) Building a Street Fitness Sports Ground within the Territory of Todor Kableshkov University of Transport (project team: Reni Gerginova, Ralitsa Temelakievaa, Petya Todorova)
4) Integrating Ecologically Friendly Urban Transport in Sofia (project team: Simona Prodanova, Zlatka Lacheva, Snezhana Mihaylova)
5) Developing X Security Company within the Territory of Sofia (project team: Nikola Bonchev, Pavlin Zdravkov, Vladimir Penkov, Mustafa Bodev)
6) Campaign for Separate Collection of Waste (project team Zlatina Gancheva, Iren Marinova, Daniela Radoslavova)
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniela Todorova, Vice-Rector of Research and International Activities closed the forum. She expressed her satisfaction of the successful presentation of the professionally developed projects. She wished the students success in the academic and research activity.
